Join me for a level 1-2 flow class in which we will be building up to holding the pose: Ardha Chandra Chapasana. In order to prepare the body for coming into this balancing pose, we will be working on core and hip stability so that we can come into the balance with a feeling of strength. As well as this we will be lengthening the hamstrings and opening up across the chest as well. Ardha Chandra Chapasana can cause tension in your hamstrings, especially near the muscle attachments at the sitting bones or back of your knee. If your hamstrings feel tight, bring the floor to you by placing a block under your front hand.
